Visas to Russia
General requirements (for all types of
Russian visas):
- Valid national passport (original), its
validity must cover the whole period of
intended stay in Russia and its copy;
- Filled and signed
Visa Application form;
- Two color passport size
photos;
- Visa fee (cash in US $ only);
- Air tickets (e-tickets) with dates of
departure and arrival;
- HIV certificate (only if stay in Russia
is longer than 90 (ninety) days)
VISA WAIVER:
Nota Bene: According to the
intergovernmental Agreement between Russia and
Myanmar on exemption of visas for holders of
diplomatic and official (service) passports, the
officials (holders of official passports) DO NOT
need entry visa if their stay in Russia is LESS
than 90 (ninety) days. If they intend to reside
in Russia for a longer period of time, an
Invitation Letter from the Russian Immigration
Agency is necessary.
Diplomats from both countries are exempted
from visas for the whole period of their
missions in their respective Embassies.
In addition to general requirements,
Tourist visa requires a Confirmation letter
and a Tourist voucher from a registered Russian
travel agency (facsimile copy is also
applicable).
Tourist visa is valid
up to one month and can have single or double
entries.
 In addition to general
requirements, Transit visa requires visas
of the country of destination
(if necessary for
entry to the country).
Transit visa (single or double entry) is
valid up to ten days.
All other types of
visa (Business, Study, Private, Labor,
Humanitarian) require:

NOTARY and REGISTRY OFFICE
The Consular Section of the Russian Embassy to
the Union of Myanmar according to the Russian
legislation and International law carries out
notary functions (certifies copies of the
documents, gives out power of attorney,
affidavits, true translation from and into
Russian language, etc.), legalizes Myanmar
official documents intended for use in Russia
and provides assistance in obtaining Criminal
clearance certificates from the Russian Ministry
of the Interior.
